Virtual Servers

With support for Windows Server, Linux, SQL Server, Oracle, SAP etc, Azure Virtual Machines gives you the flexibility of virtualization for a wide range of computing solutions—development and testing, running applications, and extending your datacenter.  It’s as if it was another rack in your datacenter, giving you the power to deploy an application in minutes instead of weeks.

Configure your virtual machine size and performance to handle the exact business needs. You choose how big, how fast, how redundant, what operating system and when it’s running.  Choose your own virtual machine image or download a certified pre-configured image.

Virtual Storage

Azure Storage offers a set of storage services for all your business needs. Choose from Blob Storage for unstructured data, File Storage for SMB-based cloud file shares, Table Storage for NoSQL data, and Premium Storage for high-performance, low-latency block storage for I/O-intensive workloads.

Storage automatically replicates your data and maintains multiple copies—either in a single region or globally with geo-redundancy. Storage offers a variety of security capabilities to help protect your data. Pay only for what you use to help meet your budget and business needs.

Virtual Networking

Virtual networking gives you a private network in the cloud. Azure Virtual Network provides an isolated and secure environment to run your virtual machines and applications. You can use your private IP addresses and define subnets, access control policies, and more.  With Virtual Network, you can easily extend your on-premises IT environment into the cloud, much the way that you can set up and connect to a remote branch office.

Within a virtual network, you can choose to run a variety of network virtual appliances—WAN optimizers, load balancers, and application firewalls—and define traffic flows, allowing you to design the network with a greater degree of control.

Virtual Backup

Your data and applications are everywhere—on servers, clients, and in the cloud. Virtual backup can protect your critical applications, including SharePoint, Exchange, and SQL Server; files and folders; Windows servers & clients and virtual machines.  Your backup data is secure over the wire and at rest.  Once the initial seeding is complete, only incremental changes are sent. Built-in features, such as compression, encryption, longer retention, and bandwidth throttling, help boost IT efficiency.

Backup provides a compelling alternative to tape with significant cost savings, shorter recovery times, and up to 99 years of retention. The backup data is stored in geo-replicated storage which maintains 6 copies of your data across two Azure datacenters. With 99.9% service availability, Backup provides operational peace of mind.
